Logistics Information for Experienced Pilots about flying in our area
1. Call us and we will give you the latest forecast and the best place to fly in the area.
2. We are happy to meet you at the site and give you a complete site introduction.
3. Jackson Hole, like most of the surrounding area is quite high (6,200 feet above sea level)
- Prepare yourself, if you are coming directly from sea level to Jackson,
the air is thinner and it may take a day or so to acclimate.
- Remember you will be launching and landing at high altitude be prepared
and aware. Your launch and landing speeds will be higher because of the
altitude.
- Be sure to drink lots of water, diet soda and others soft drink will hinder your
acclimation.
4. Rental equipment is limited, but available to qualified pilots. We encourage
you to bring your harness, helmet, parachute and flight instruments.
