The town is called Jackson, while Jackson Hole is the name of the entire valley beginning at the south entrance of Yellowstone and running 60 miles south through Grand Teton National Park and encompassing other smaller towns such as, Moose, Kelly, Wilson, Moran. Jackson is the largest.
Albeit still a very small town, the town of Jackson is the seat of Teton County and the only incorporated town in Jackson Hole. Jackson is the largest town in Jackson Hole, the next largest town and closest interstate is over 100 miles away. |
